Welcome to Termometer. Nicholas Faylor ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Termometer word association game, including our website at termometer.app and mobile applications (collectively, the "Service").

When you create an account with Termometer, we collect:

- Authentication Data: Login credentials managed through Clerk authentication services, including:
- OAuth provider information (if you sign in with Google or Apple)

We automatically collect information about your gameplay activity, including:

- Wins and losses
- Total points earned
- Current streak
- Longest streak achieved
- Game modes accessed
- Leaderboard rankings

2.4 Subscription Information
When you purchase a premium subscription, we collect:

- Payment processing is handled entirely by RevenueCat and your device's app store (Apple or Google). We do not collect or store your payment card information.
2.5 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Web Version: Our website is built using Next.js, which may use essential cookies for basic functionality. We do not currently use cookies for advertising or non-essential tracking purposes.
Mobile Applications: We do not currently use advertising identifiers or third-party mobile analytics beyond what is provided by our authentication and database services.

Your username and scores may be publicly displayed on the global leaderboard and visible to other users of the Service.

- Secure authentication through Clerk's services

8.3 Deletion of Your Information
You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. At this time, users cannot independently delete their accounts through the app. To request account deletion, please email nick@termometer.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
We will process your deletion request within 14 days. Please note that:
- Some information may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Any active subscriptions must be cancelled through your app store before deletion
8.4 Opt-Out of Marketing Communications
If we implement marketing communications in the future, you will have the ability to opt out of receiving promotional emails by:
- Clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any promotional email

You cannot opt out of service-related communications (e.g., account verification, subscription confirmations, technical notices).

Some web browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no industry standard for how such signals should be interpreted.
